Richard Exley Conference

For nearly twenty-five years, Richard Exley served as a pastor. Ordained by the Assemblies of God (AoG), USA, he now writes and speaks in conferences and marriage retreats, drawing from his years of experience in the ministry. In October 26 and 27, 2007 he ministered to church leaders and the youth, respectively. ICI Philippines sponsored the event, which took place at the ICS Worship Center.

The first day was a ministry enrichment conference for Pastors and lay-leaders. This was an intimate gathering of about 70 people. Some of our own leaders were present for the said event. “Vision” and “The Call of God” were some of the topics covered in the whole day event.

The second day was a missions conference jointly sponsored with the National Youth Ministry Network (NYMNet) of the AoG-Philippines. This one-day conference brought together the youth and young adults within the Southern Tagalog District Council of the AoG. About three hundred people filled the auditorium. The theme was, “One Life to Live, One Life to Give!” A challenge to live life for Jesus Christ was given to the delegates. It was a full day infused with energetic worship and practical evangelism workshops on campus and workplace. Rev. Exley shared twice in the morning and afternoon sessions. The NYMNet Team, led by Ptr. Sur del Rosario, facilitated the workshops and small group sessions. The event concluded with several delegates committing to be active witnesses of God’s Kingdom where they were.
