Update: ICS Corporate Meeting 2008

The seven newly elected members of the Board of Elders were officially recognized last Sunday, April 13, 2008 at the 10 AM service.

They were called to the stage by Ptr. Jerry Balbuena. There, Ptr. Jerry exhorted the newly installed elders, together with the seven remaining elders, from Scripture to live a life of excellence inside and outside the walls of the church, care for the congregation, and to strive to be good role models to the generations that will come after them.

Bro. Temi Padla, Chairman of the BOE, led the incoming leaders in reciting the Officers’ Pledge to: (1) Follow the example of the Lord; (2) Seek to be a servant: (3) Promote spiritual growth by teaching the Word in public or in private, whether convenient or inconvenient, and; (4) Pray for every member of ICS.

Let’s continue to pray for these leaders and for the rest of our church ministers. Pray that they will keep the faith and continue to labor for His glory alone.
