How to Suceed in School
The first part of the “How to Succeed in School” Seminar series was held last May 18 at the APTS Room for the students of ICS. Sponsored by CROSSLinC, the first session of that day was presented by Ptr. Jerry Balbuena. In it, he explained why excellence in school is important. The second session, “The 13 Principles of Succeedding in School”, on the other hand, was lectured by Reah Padla.
The seminar sessions were based from the Asia Pacific Campus Challenge’s (APCC) “How to Succeed in College” series, usually taught in universities and colleges. The CROSSLinC leaders felt the needs of the students to be more equipped, learning- and study habits-wise, this coming school year, which is why these practical and biblical tips were taught to them.
Before the seminar started, the youth of ICS were asked to record a video based on the topic of the day’s seminar. In it, they shared their ideas on how to do better in school.
The last 3 sessions will be shared by Dr. Antonette Cadimas and Daniel Gomez. ‘How to Succeed in Schoo’l seminar will be held this afternoon, 2:30 pm at the ICS APTS Room. All students are welcome!
