Dance Ministry
The Dance Ministry of ICS started in 2005 with just nine dancers who were all untrained but with willing hearts and much practice, the team has become more than just a dance group.
Initially, they presented special dance numbers quarterly. Over time they have done many creative dance productions for seasonal and special church events like Christmas, Missions month, and concerts. Aside from their quarterly dances, they have also performed the “We Are The Reason”, a presentation in mime, which never fails to wow the audience whenever they present it.
Dance is more than an expression of art for the team. They consider it a gift given by God, which can be used to serve others (1 Peter 4:10). The ministry’s objectives include blessing God through worshipful expressions and movement, enliven praise and worship, and tell the story of God’s love through dance and mime.
